The service

Dropcast is operated by Small Hours, an independent studio. It hosts audio you upload and serves it as a private podcast feed. You may use it only for audio you have the right to use, such as audio overviews you generated from your own notebooks.

Your content

You keep all rights to your audio. You give Dropcast permission to store, compress and serve it to the feed link you control, which is what the service is for. Do not upload content that infringes someone else's rights or that is illegal. We may remove such content and close the feed.

Plans and payment

The free plan includes three episodes. Pro is a subscription sold by Polar Software Inc. as merchant of record at the price shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow Polar's policy and applicable law. Prices may change with notice to subscribers.

Private links

Your feed link is private but not secret from anyone you give it to. You are responsible for keeping it private. If it leaks, delete the episodes you do not want shared and ask us for a new feed.

Third parties

Dropcast is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. NotebookLM and Gemini Notebook are trademarks of Google LLC. Your use of NotebookLM is governed by Google's terms. Podcast apps are provided by their own makers.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as is. We work to keep it available but cannot promise it will never be interrupted or that files will never be lost; keep your own copies of anything important. To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are posted on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
